Four ladies – Sharyn Patrick, Jenny Bolitho, Anne McSweeney and Karyn Kelley – played in the Champion of Champions at Fairlie on Sunday 13 October with great success.

Jenny Bolitho won the Bronze A best nett with 71 and 17 gross stablefords.
Sharyn Patrick had nett 75 and 17 gross stablefords.
Anne McSweeney had a nett 72 and 12 gross stablefords.
Karyn Kelley had a nett 79.

A team of six players – F Mulvey, W Powell, J Bolitho, J Niezen, G Smith and A McSweeney travelled to Rakaia to play a challenge for the Low Cup. The result was a draw, three wins and three loses each, but Rakaia held the trophy on countback.

Three teams of ladies played in the Eagles Halberg Foundation Tournament at Fairlie on the 19 September.
Temuka took out the teams first prize – Willie Powell, Jenny Niezen, Barbara Crotty and Helen May (Geraldine) with a score of 121
Also Third prize going to another Temuka team – Jenny Bolitho, Pam Taylor, Gay Smith and Anne McSweeney with a score of 111
Barbara Crotty won the Junior individual prize for the best stableford with 40.
