Temuka Golf Club Requirements for the COVID-19 Protection Framework CPF (traffic lights)
The Temuka Golf Club is complying with the rules for the implementation of the new CPF guidance requirements at 11.59 on 2nd December 2021 and will be implementing the My Vaccine Pass requirements. If you do not hold a valid My Vaccine Pass, you will not be given access to the clubhouse.
Our number one priority is the health, safety and well-being of all golfers and the wider community and interpreting the Government’s guidance accurately is a crucial part of that.
Golf can be played at RED, ORANGE and GREEN by both vaccinated and unvaccinated players, but only those who hold a valid My Vaccine Pass are allowed access to the clubhouse.
Non verified persons are unable to play within the field on competition/club days.
On competition/club days the toilets inside the clubhouse are available for valid My Vaccine Pass holders and the outside toilet is for public use.
The Club must display the NZ Covid Tracer app QR codes and are required to use these as much as possible, and record keeping is still to be undertaken and retained for traceability.
A valid My Vaccine Pass is required for all workers at the Temuka Golf Club, all customers, and players, including visitors, contractors and those hiring the venue, who require access into the clubhouse/greenkeeper’s facilities. Upon entering the clubhouse people will be required to show their valid My Vaccine Pass in either digital form or hard copy. These will be sighted/verified at the point of entry (or as soon as possible after) by an approved member from the management committee or approved person. In the case of those hiring the venue this will be the responsibility of the hirer to confirm that all attendees hold a valid My Vaccine Pass.
If the person is a current member of the Temuka Golf Club and gives consent, the club may record verification against the membership list. This will be held in a secure area and will not be placed on display to protect your privacy.
For those who do not hold a valid My Vaccine Pass and/or are non-verified they will not have access to the clubhouse or the motorised carts.
Any handicapping cards for non-verified players will need to be scanned or photographed and sent to temukagolf@outlook.co.nz where they will be forwarded to a handicapper.
In the case of the Red CPF, up to 100 people per gathering are permitted in the clubhouse (based on one metre of space per person), face masks are to be always worn when not playing, a valid My Vaccine Pass is required.
In the case of the Orange CPF, there is no limit for gatherings, face masks are encouraged when not playing, a valid My Vaccine Pass is required.
In the case of the Green CPF, there is no limit for gatherings, but face masks are encouraged, and a valid My Vaccine Pass is required.
The management committee reserve the right to make changes to this notification if required to adhere to Government and NZ Golf guidance and requirements.
